The coldest days call for that cozy comfort and nothing better than a hot chocolate creamy to give that hug.
If you like hot chocolate but can't consume milk or prefer more natural options, this recipe will become your new favorite.

CREAMY HOT CHOCOLATE
In this hot chocolate recipe you will use the cashew milk, which thickens naturally, leaving the drink creamy.
But to make it even creamier, with a more velvety touch you will add a small amount of cornstarch.
It's very little corn starch, but it makes all the difference in the final texture of the lactose-free hot chocolate.
Cornstarch is optional, but if you like it really creamy I suggest you add this ingredient.

HOT CHOCOLATE WITH VEGETABLE MILK
I chose to use the cashew milk for the taste and for the natural creaminess.
But you can use any other plant-based milk for this recipe, or even cow's milk.
But to make the hot chocolate recipe really creamy with other milks you will need add double the amount of cornstarch.
Or even adjust the consistency to your taste using a little more starch to thicken.
