LACTOSE-FREE CREAMY HOT CHOCOLATE

This hot chocolate recipe is warming to the core, creamy, velvety and goes down your throat, caressing your soul.

Di sodio

  • 500 ml de cashew milk or other milk
  • 2 colheres sopa cacau em pó 100% (16 gramas)
  • 3 colheres sopa mel ou outro açúcar/adoçante da sua preferência (75 gramas)
  • Small pinch of salt and cinnamon (optional)
  • 1/2 colher chá amido de milho (1 grama) dissolvido em 1 colher sopa água (15 ml)

Grassi Saturi

  1. In a medium saucepan add all ingredients except cornstarch.
  2. Cook over medium/high heat, stirring occasionally until the cocoa powder dissolves and begins to boil.
  3. Boil for approximately 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Turn off the heat and wait for it to cool down a little.
  5. Add the cornstarch dissolved in the water, stir well and turn the heat to low for another 1 minute.
  6. Serve immediately, being careful not to burn yourself.

Notes

  • Use other types of plant-based milk or cow's milk, add more cornstarch to adjust the consistency.
  • You can sweeten the recipe as you prefer, my suggestion is to taste it little by little and adjust the flavor, in my version the hot chocolate is very sweet, like a dessert.
